Dedicated community volunteer and respected local estate attorney Christene “Chris” Krupa Downs lives by the motto “Be Kind” in every action she takes. For more than 20 years, Chris has volunteered her time with over a dozen organizations dedicated to improving the lives of Plano residents.

Now, Chris is ready to continue her mission as our next Place 4 Councilmember, where she will protect our neighborhoods by ensuring first responders have the resources they need, improving roads and infrastructure, preserving essential city services, and enhancing our already excellent parks, trails, libraries and rec centers.

Chris will work tirelessly to keep taxes low, protect Plano residents, and strengthen our local economy. Chris and her husband, David, are proud residents of Plano. Chris has served on the boards of the Wellness Center for Older Adults.
